Minimum System Requirement
Operating systems : Linux (64 bit)
Disk Available space : 600 MB
Tools : flutter depends on the following commands, ensure you have them on your system
Go to https://flutter.dev/docs/get-started/install/linux#get-sdk and download the latest stable release
After successful download , run the following command to move the downloaded file to /opt folder.
sudo mv flutter_linux_2.2.2-stable.tar.xz /opt/
Next , navigate to /opt/ folder
Extract the file in /opt/ or your desired location.
sudo tar xf flutter_linux_2.2.2-stable.tar.xz
flutter tool to your path
Verify that the
flutter/bin directory is now in your PATH by running:
Your output should include flutter
which command again should show that the
dart commands now come from the same directory.
which flutter dart
Go ahead and download android studio.after installation click on the configuration panel and select plugin.
Select flutter plugin
Next , you should see the option to create new flutter application.
You may be asked to select your SDK folder while creating your new flutter application. Select the flutter folder extract earlier.
If you have permission error while creating your your first flutter application , locate your flutter SDK folder and run the following command.
sudo chown -R simon ./flutter/*
sudo chown -R simon .*
